Hi, I’m Corey Allen Davey, ASID, RID, NCIDQ and a Partner / Registered Interior Designer with Curate Studios. I earned a Bachelor of Science: Family & Consumer Sciences focused in Interior Design from Texas State University-San Marcos and have held many leadership positions within ASID over the last 10 years starting as an ASID Student Member. I have found a calling for designing healthcare environments – especially dental offices. As a traveler, I like to capitalize on my travel experiences to find inspiration and fresh, new perspectives. If you choose me, you can expect to check out progress of job sites - commercial and residential - get some office hours in, visit showrooms, the Dallas World Trade Center and maybe stop in at the ASID Texas Chapter office. To get an even broader perspective, we will be joining fellow designer Laura McDonald Stewart, RID, FASID, LEED AP, WELL AP of Laura McDonald Enterprises. During our time together, we’ll visit several showrooms in Dallas Design District where you’ll be exposed to products and services and meet some knowledgable industry representatives. We’ll also have lunch and visit about all this industry has to offer. FYI: I’m taking up to 3 students for this experience. Please wear business casual attire - i.e., no sweats, workout gear or t-shirts, but nice jeans are OK.
