What is Student Symposium all about?
EXPANDING NETWORKS & PROVIDING INSPIRATION
Student Symposium exposes budding designers to the REAL WORLD of interior design. The event is filled with RICH OPPORTUNITIES that expose students to the fact that there are so many DIFFERENT PATHS one can take with an interior design degree.

Scholarships
In conjunction with Student Symposium, you can apply to win one of four different SCHOLARSHIPS of $1,000 each.
In-Person Events
Student Symposium features three IN-PERSON EVENTS across the ASID Texas Chapter: Austin, Dallas & San Antonio. Each event will feature its own learning and networking opportunities.
Eligibility
In-Person Events are open exclusively to ASID Student Members, both within and outside of Texas.
Scholarships are open exclusively to ASID Student Members actively enrolled as a student in a Texas-based interior design academic program: 2-year program freshman and above; 4-year program freshman; or graduate level.
So if you're not a Student Member, JOIN NOW! FYI: Student membership really pays off because once you graduate, you can advance to an Allied Practitioner membership and save over $1,400 over the first 5 years of your career! It's really a no brainer...

- JULY (1st half): Scholarship Recipients Notified
- JULY 16-18: ASID Texas Chapter's Annual Conference Celebrating Design Texas: Education, Expo & Awards - This comprehensive event will feature Student Programming and an Awards Gala on July 18th.
