HI, my name is Kathy Tomkins and I’ve been in the natural stone industry for 20 years. Starting out as Showroom Manager, then Branch Manager, I’ve had a variety of positions and worn many hats during my 20 years in the natural stone industry. Currently, I am an Architect and Designer Rep as well as an ASID Industry Partner and work at The Stone Collection-Dallas. I have the privilege of working with amazing designers and I love what I do.
Sign up for my shadow experience and we’ll start off by meeting at my one-of-a-kind showroom in Farmers Branch and tour our exquisite 100,000 SF Showroom and Slab Gallery of nature's artwork, exotic natural stone slabs. It’s sure to spark your creativity! See the latest trends in new counter surfaces. We’ll discuss how we work with designers, the process of material specification, educating designers through CEU presentations and so much more. Every day is different; collaborating with designers, architects, custom builders, kitchen and bath designers, all while combining the love of design and beautiful billion year old art in the form of natural stone. Get ready to be inspired! FYI I'm taking up to 4 students for this experience.
