(Tue) Hayley Straughan
Hey there! My name is Hayley Straughan. I have been an Interior Designer with Britt Design Group for almost 5 years, with a focus on high-end and luxury residential design. I am currently a Designer II and Associate Project Manager. I began working with Britt Design Group after I graduated from Texas Tech University where I received a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design, Master’s Degree in Environmental Design, and a LEED Green Associate Certification. My role at the firm includes the full spectrum of design, selections, and drawings while also focusing on project management and overseeing that a project is running smoothly and client communication is prioritized. If you pick my Shadow Experience, you will experience a typical day to day in our local Austin office, where we have about 20 employees. We are very busy right now, so it may be a fast-paced day where I could touch several projects in one day! My tasks vary greatly from day to day, but you may experience drawing sets, material specifications, material scheming/selections, digital design presentations, internal design collaborations, project budgeting, furniture proposals, and so much more.
Please wear business casual attire (no jeans, t-shirts, athleisure), but don’t stress. Our office is laid back, but we love to look professional in case a client decides to stop by!
