Hi, my name is Sinikka Marten, and along with my husband Josh, we own Stål Timber, an ASID Industry Partner. Stål Timber has been a family-owned and operated business in the DFW area since 2012. I am Director of Sales and Marketing, and Josh is Lead Designer. We specialize in blending metal and wood in our furniture and fixtures in unexpected and beautiful ways and doing it better than anyone else. From the start, our goal has been to be a vehicle for collaboration between designers, architects, builders, and their clients. We are proud to say that we are a two-time ASID award winning manufacturer and work with some of the best interior designers in the DFW area. If you choose our experience, we will take your through our process of working with award winning designers and their custom furniture build requests. We’ll cover everything from the initial drawings to watching the process in our 8,000-square-foot manufacturing facility for projects in-process to how things are delivered and how we interact with the designers. We look forward to meeting you! Please wear business casual attire and closed toes shoes. FYI: I’m taking up to 3 students for this experience.
