(Tue) Giovannie Mendoza
Hello, my name is Giovannie Mendoza, and I'm the Design Manager for Core Office Interiors in Austin. I started here as a designer after graduating from Texas State in Spring of 2020 with a Bachelors Degree in Interior Design. I work on furniture design, and my projects consist of commercial, educational, and office spaces. Furniture makes a huge difference when it comes to design intent. If you decide to sign up for my shadow experience, we will start by meeting at our office in North Austin, near the domain. We'll give you a tour of our showroom, and introduce you to some of my fellow employees. I'll explain our process, and walk you through some of the projects we've worked on that are a staple in our industry. We'll also go through what the day-to-day tasks of a designer look like at Core, and you'll potentially be able to sit in a meeting or two. Looking forward to hosting you! Attire: Business casual (don't feel the need to wear anything too formal). FYI: I’m taking up to 3 students for this experience.
