(Wed) Kathleen Whistler
My name is Kathleen Whistler, and lighting is my passion! I have been in the lighting industry for approximately 20 years, and now I am a Lighting Specialist with ASID Industry Partner Lighting Inc. My journey into lighting started as a “cameraman” on television set design and discovered the unique aspects of lighting. To create an environment that illuminates the architecture, and design aspects, while adding warmth and intrigue to a home is exciting! If you choose My Shadow Experience, we will meet at our showroom in San Antonio. I will give you a tour, introduce you to our manager, and show you the latest LED technologies, fabulous fixtures and discuss applications. I will explain how we work with designers, builders and walk-in clients, and give you an overview of electrical layouts and general knowledge of blueprints. Join me in discovering the vast world of lighting. Please wear business casual attire. FYI: I’m taking up to 4 students for this experience.
