Hi, my name is Christina Garcia, Allied ASID, and I have been a practicing Interior Design for the past 15 years. I studied at Texas Christian University before working with some of the most esteemed Interior Designers in Dallas. Layered Dimensions Interior Design was started three years ago to focus on high end residential projects in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Our expertise is in new construction homes and furnishings, designing every detail from floor plugs to the last pieces of furniture and accessories. Join me on my shadow experience and you will gain an opportunity to see the daily ins-and-outs of the custom home design process. I will introduce you to my team and fellow office colleagues so that you will have one-on-one time with myself as well as my team to experience the various parts of the design process. You can expect to partake in experiences such as site visits, vendor showroom sourcing, in-office design development, client meetings and more. We are a fast-paced design firm, so lots of things will be going on! My business partner, Grayson Knight, Allied ASID, will also be hosting a student. Please wear business casual attire (which means no sweats, t-shirts or athleisure wear). Also please avoid high heels in case of construction jobsite walk-thrus. FYI: I’m only taking 1 student for this experience.
