Scholarship Details
  • Amounts: For 2026 we are awarding $4,000 in scholarships (4 scholarships of $1,000 each), which are all listed below.
  • Eligibility: All participants MUST be an ASID Student Member and an actively enrolled student in a Texas- or Oklahoma-based interior design academic program: 2-year program freshman and above; 4-year program freshman; or graduate level.
  • Criteria: Each of the four scholarships has different criteria, and you may view the criteria by downloading each of the applications.
  • Application Fee: $0
  • Application Window: Scholarship applications will be posted by March 15, 2026, and all complete applications are due to ASID Texas Chapter President-Elect Faye Nielsen, ASID Allied no later than 5:00 PM CT on Friday, June 26, 2026. About the ASID Texas Chapter
The ASID Texas Chapter represents 2,000+ Practitioner, Educator, Affiliate, Student and Industry members (850+ of which are Practitioners and/or Educators) throughout the states of Oklahoma and Texas excluding the greater Houston area, which is covered by the
ASID Texas Gulf Coast Chapter. Members work in both the residential and commercial fields, either as sole proprietors or as part of small or large firms. Members strive to improve the quality of life for all of their clients through the creation of aesthetically pleasing, thoughtful design that takes into account the health, safety and welfare [HSW] of the public.
