This experience a FANTASTIC! Everything was very well organized and the knowledge gained through the sessions was invaluable.

This [ASID student event] was the best I have attended.

I am very much looking forward to attending next year's student symposium!

I was thrilled to finally realize what it was that I wanted to do with design. I always knew I wanted to change lives and design residences that would be able to accommodate someone who may be disabled without looking like a nursing home or hospital. After listening to Cynthia Leibrock, my life was changed and I knew exactly what I was called to do. Again, I wanted to thank ASID for the event that helped me decide on my future.

The fact that the designers/speakers/educators were telling us the reality of being a designer was sobering and helpful. The advice and personal stories of failure and success were inspiring and motivating. These topics should be included every year (i.e. how to get over the road bumps and the fact that it's not always glamorous).

It was great to hear from professionals and actually get out and around to look and do hands on learning.

It was a great experience and I learned how important it is to meet other people and how networking will help me in the future for job opportunities.
I’m an Educator, and I've been to the last five years of Student Days, and this was the best one with possibly the exception of the event in 2005, which was also impressive.

Everyone who spoke at the event stressed how as a student many opportunities can come our way by networking with members and getting our faces out there. I think it is a great opportunity and I'm excited to start taking part in the organization and learning what I can know about ASID and the professional side of interior design.

More than ever, I am trying to drive home the importance of membership with ASID to the other students in our program.

Thank you for all you put into making this symposium so fantastic! I had a great time and learned so much! I'll definitely recommend it to my classmates next year. Thank you again!

All of the members involved in organizing and working the days were so friendly, approachable, and helpful. They really deserve a round of applause!

I loved the networking opportunity! Met so many wonderful designers!

I didn't actually have much of an opinion of ASID before, and what little I did,was positive, but this just made me really love it.

Road Rules was a great section with very interesting speakers with wonderful presentations. The Real World panel was probably the best event. It was so great to get all that inside information and from so different people. Definitely repeat that next year, possibly with different people to get even more points of view.

I wanted to thank you for the opportunity to attend this amazing event. The group of student members I attended with all agree that the trip was well worth our time! The information we were given was all very useful! As we were discussing our experiences, we realized that we each brought back something different and exciting to share with the students who were not able to attend.
